An emerging antimicrobial threat in your kitchen

Why now?
Campylobacter infections are on the rise globally, with increasing levels of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) making treatment more challenging. As the world’s most common bacterial cause of gastroenteritis, Campylobacter poses a growing public health threat, yet effective interventions remain limited. There is an urgent need for research into novel and sustainable strategies to mitigate its impact—spanning genomics, surveillance, food safety, and public health interventions.

About the conference
It has been some time since our last CampyUK Goes Global meeting in 2021. With the previous CHRO conferences held in China and Australia, now is the perfect time to bring the UK Campylobacter community together to share research updates, foster collaborations, and create new momentum in tackling this major global health issue.

Who should attend?
This in-person event welcomes researchers, public health professionals, policymakers, and industry experts interested in Campylobacter. Whether you are UK-based or international, from academia or applied sectors, we encourage diverse participation to drive forward much-needed solutions.
